Erica Daybreak Lyle declares new profit album with title-track and canopy of Black Sabbath’s “Struggle Pigs”
Lyle, who joined Bikini Kill’s touring band in 2019, has delivered “Sympoiesis” and a canopy of Black Sabbath’s “Struggle Pigs” as the primary previews of SYMPOIESIS, a brand new album that can see all proceeds from pre-orders donated to Atlanta Forest Defenders.
SYMPOIESIS will observe Lyle and Vice Cooler’s 2022 LAND TRUST profit album, which featured Kathleen Hanna, Kim Gordon, The Raincoats, The Linda Lindas and plenty of extra.
In line with Bandcamp, Lyle “recorded and edited at residence from New Moon 1/21/23 to the Full Moon 2/5/23,” and it includes a “mixture of reside improv and composition made out of improv loops.”
BrooklynVegan studies that Lyle mentioned of the album: “I performed in Atlanta Forest in October and the autonomous zone the protesters had created there collectively felt really stunning. There have been 100 or so younger folks, everybody dancing all evening, all with a way that everybody understood how particular it was to be in such a free house, a way of how a lot love they’d for one another and the forest and satisfaction in what they’d helped to make actual there.
