   Maria Marino brings the vivid colours of her day-time landscapes into the evening along with her pastel nocturnes. See extra of her work (each day and evening) in our Voices of Expertise article. We have requested a few of our favourite artists to indicate us examples of their evening time work and to inform us a bit of bit about their processes on this sequence of Nocturne Notes.
Marino shared with us these two examples of her exuberant, expressive pastel nocturne work. She instructed us that her purpose is in “catching the thriller of that individual time of night”
