VALUE FOR MONEY – FORM Dance Initiatives

FORM DANCE  PROJECTS and RIVERSIDE THEATRES PRESENT
DANCE BITES 2023

VALUE FOR MONEY
by GUTS Dance//Central Australia
Toured by Artback NT

Worth For Cash, choreographed by Jasmin Sheppard and Sara Black, interrogates how relationships, neighborhood, proximity and place change our notion of a life’s value.

All of us come from a typical place- land, mud, molecule. The human journey separates us from different animals by our drive to seek out our particular person value. What makes us a invaluable and distinctive addition to this place? How can we worth human life? Is it the calculable financial worth or the intangible emotional and bodily worth of an individual we must be contemplating? As well as, this human want to find our particular person and collective worth contradicts a human want to manage and have dominion over different people, animals and land; to challenge collective worth onto objects, deities, different people: the polarity of energy and vulnerability inherent inside us all.
